Lake Maggiore has nothing less than Lake Como for a wedding or elopement photographer, the landscape is beautiful and a bit more raw, I can’t help but falling in love with these areas…
Caroline and Roger found me and we have been in perfect sync, the wanted something different and we agreed to shoot all this small, sweet and intimate elopement 100% by analog film photography.
Caroline is a photographer working for magazines and we agreed immediately on the fascination of this medium.
Shooting as an analog film wedding photographer is not something fancy, you just move and see in a different way, you study the framing knowing that you’ll take just a few snaps, you make decisions, you care for the moment, you don’t keep repeating. Then you have that mood and character that you just love…is the final gift.
Small and intimate Lake Maggiore elopement
It was clean from the beginning that this wedding was going to travel to the beat of a different drum, and I just loved it. They had a tight and warm group of friends and family, everyone was turbo-happy to be there and it was just shining. They got ready together and everything happened in the most charming and relaxing way ever.
We found the time for a wedding portrait session just when everyone was enjoying a beautiful sunset and the love of being together (and some drinks too…)

I just live when people has a personal idea away from the clichés of a wedding, it leads to something true, something beautiful against predictable images…and I am not talking only about photography.
It was stunning to meet them and their friends and family…when the contact sheets were ready we got into a choice for some wedding darkroom prints that came out stunning…I still have their review on my google listing, and I really loved what we shared together in those hours.
